‘ventilation engine’ in PROSOFT 5. Healthy air, is easy to configure

The latest PROSOFT5 release for professionals is available on the teletask.be website and includes an intelligent “Ventilation engine”. A software tool that enables you, as a system integrator, to easily set up an efficient ventilation control solution ranging from simple to advanced. By using one or more sensors in combination with a speed-controlled fan, your customers will henceforth live 24/7 with optimally healthy air.

Advanced air-quality integration

The new PROSOFT 5 version includes additional capabilities for optimising a healthy living environment, by integrating air-quality measurement with ventilation systems and information from the available home-automation parameters. Virtually any multi-speed ventilation system can be controlled, now also including specific support for integration with Belgian DUCO ventilation systems via a LAN connection. The most affordable—and also powerful—solution is a standard fan with low/medium/high inputs. Such a connection can be implemented easily with three output relays (per fan, if you have several in large projects) and the required sensor(s). The DUCO system does its own thing via a simple LAN connection, but the TELETASK system can add many extra functions, such as manual controls and remote operation. You may or may not use additional TELETASK (VOC) sensors, built into an AURUS-6 keypad, without adding distracting elements to the walls. If you want to go further and include CO2 and fine-particulate sensors, you will also find these in the TELETASK range from Q3 2026. These are easy to connect to the AUTOBUS, which naturally offers many advantages.

Continuous monitoring for optimal air quality

TELETASK continuously monitors air quality and ensures the necessary increase in ventilation speed when the local (built-in) sensor(s) detect an unwanted deviation. With elevated VOC, CO2 or fine-particulate values, the TELETASK system ensures you do not have to take any action yourself. Because the TELETASK sensors are located in the critical rooms themselves, the system can respond quickly and in the right room. Even when you are sleeping, watching TV, cooking, or cosily lighting the fire in winter. TELETASK provides permanent measurement and monitoring of, for example, volatile toxic gases (VOCs) and automatically extracts them when they exceed the preset thresholds. You can never avoid the presence of such toxic gases, but thanks to, for example, an invisibly integrated VOC sensor in an AURUS-6 keypad, the link between home automation and ventilation ensures consistently high air quality without worry. As a user, in addition to automatic ventilation control, you always have the option to intervene manually via your TELETASK control panels and mobile app.

On the other hand, TELETASK ensures that no unnecessary energy is lost through continuous mechanical ventilation. When all sensor parameters are in the green, there is no need to waste expensive energy.

Smart and context-aware automation

There is also additional intelligence thanks to the many parameters available within a TELETASK system. For instance, the TELETASK system knows when nobody is at home and air quality is relative. Or when everyone is asleep and it is better for the ventilation not to immediately run at full speed if it is not truly necessary. Manual intervention is possible in different ways. You can select “silent mode” if a housemate or a baby needs to sleep during the day. You can also easily switch the ventilation proactively to a higher speed because you are about to light the fire or when you are having a party and expect a large number of guests. Even though this is not really necessary, because TELETASK continuously monitors and quickly anticipates the air-quality measurement(s) in one or more rooms. But if the manual control is, for example, set to the lowest speed and air pollution increases too much (for example, increased CO2 concentration), the TELETASK system will still take over again until the issue has passed. In short, with TELETASK ventilation control you can be worry-free and enjoy optimally healthy air. And you can always check by taking a look to the smilleys on your user interfaces. A sad-looking smilley will soon be transformed into a happy or excited one!

Remote monitoring and control

You can also consult the parameters remotely at any time via your mobile phone and adjust them if required. Think specifically of long absences, or (re-)adjusting the ventilation in a weekend home, unexpected guests arriving, etc. The user interface smilleys can help you here as well.

Such control is of course also important in professional environments—for example in meeting rooms with flexible occupancy, waiting rooms, classrooms, etc. Together with the control of lighting, sun shading, heating/cooling... everything on one control panel or in one simple mobile app.

Aesthetic and health-conscious design

And the aesthetic aspect also has its advantages. You can opt for an AURUS keypad with invisibly integrated temperature, humidity and VOC sensors. People with sensitive airways find this not only attractive but also far from a luxury. It is a must for a modern, healthy living environment, because many toxic VOCs cannot be smelled or seen.

TELETASK knows how to handle it.
