TELETASK turned 40 and we celebrated together

A special anniversary deserves a special celebration. That’s why TELETASK invited its loyal partners, the many Belgian system integrators, last month, to an exclusive jubilee event. It became an evening full of warmth, inspiration, and connection, the perfect moment to thank our customers for their trust and support during the past 40 years.

From student room to global player in home automation

Our story started in 1984, when founder Johan Vander Beken entered a market that barely existed at the time: the market of integrated home automation. From his student room, in the seventies, and later a small workshop in Ghent, he created one of the first integrated systems that combined comfort, safety, and design in homes.
What began with pioneering work, with the first control panels, innovative bus technology, and a project that reached the international press, grew into a worldwide network. Today, our solutions are active in more than 40 countries, supported by a strong team, local distributors, and thousands of system integrators who share our vision.
This was exactly the story we wanted to celebrate with our guests: looking back at the past while also opening a window to the future.

An anniversary evening full of experience and vision

For this jubilee, we welcomed our guests in our brand-new showroom in Ghent, which for the occasion was partly transformed into a “museum of the future.” Visitors could see unique pieces from TELETASK’s history, such as the very first prototypes, old brochures, and documents, as well as an exclusive preview of what is coming next.
Especially for this event, we presented about ten prototypes of products coming within the next year, shown only that evening. It was a unique chance for our partners to be the first to discover our upcoming road map of innovations.

Technology meets atmosphere and hospitality

The event was not only about technology, but also about the experience. Our guests enjoyed a stylish reception with fine catering, live piano music, and singing. The warm and festive atmosphere encouraged networking, sharing memories, and looking forward together. It did not feel like a typical business event, but like a true celebration with people who are part of our journey.
As founder Johan Vander Beken said: “This jubilee is not only about 40 years of technology. It is about the people who support us, work with us, trust us, and keep us inspired to continue innovating. The things we like the most! Without you, TELETASK would not be where it is today.”

40 years of gratitude, 40 years of ambition

This anniversary was more than just a party: it was a tribute to 40 years of cooperation and shared growth. We are thankful to our customers and partners for their ongoing support, and we look to the future with ambition. One thing is certain: the next chapters of home automation, we will write together again.
