TELETASK opened the doors of its revamped showroom in Ghent/Belgium, an exceptional space where high-end home automation engages in a dialogue with art and distinct architecture. The showroom is designed as a refined, domestic environment where visitors not only experience TELETASK's smart-home solutions but are also immersed in an architectural total concept.
From lighting and climate control to security, shading, and audiovisual management: all technologies are seamlessly integrated into an interior designed to combine technology, art, and design into one coherent whole.
An interior where architecture sets the rhythm
The showroom design is by interior designer Philip Theys of RR Interior from Knokke. His signature forms the architectural backbone of the space. Through the use of high-quality materials, subtle textures, and a carefully orchestrated light architecture, an environment is created that feels both timeless and contemporary. Here, home automation does not play the leading role, but rather a silent force that supports and enhances the architecture. This architectural line continues into the furniture, with carefully selected pieces by top architect Vincent Van Duysen for Molteni. Their sleek design, soft volumes, and understated appearance seamlessly align with the vision of the showroom. As a sculptural statement piece, there is the unique lounge chair by an Italian designer: a unique piece that gives the space a distinct art design characte
Art as a connecting layer
Art takes an equally important place as architecture. Jeroen Brouckx's painting brings movement, depth, and emotion to the interior and serves as the artistic heart of the showroom. The work provides the space with a contemplative dimension and clearly shows how art can elevate an environment, even when technology is discreetly present.
The combination of contemporary art and high-end architecture perfectly reflects TELETASK's philosophy: a full integrated, state-of-the-art, smart home, should not only be functional but also offer an aesthetic experience. Technology exists to support beauty, comfort, and tranquillity, not to disrupt it.
