With the latest ATMOS app update (V1.1.7+184 or higher), you can now also manage the ‘regimes’ system. Customers who need flexible clock schedules can now manage their regime settings on ATMOS, just like they can on an OPUS, PENTUS, and AURUS-TFF touch screen. You can find the necessary ‘clocks’ button on ATMOS in the ‘functions’ menu (grid icon below on the ATMOS main screen, left to the camera icon).
There are two items you can manage
1. The active regime: “workday,” “weekend day,” or “presence simulation” (only one out of these three can be active)
2. Activate/deactivate a custom table
(3. There is also a continuous clock table that cannot be influenced because it is meant to be active at all times).
Why should an end-user use these settings?
The ‘regimes’ system consists of four different clock tables which contain specific time-based actions, to be executed at specific times of the day. If a clock table is activated, all its actions are processed; if it is deactivated, its actions will not be executed, just as if they don't exist.
Example
On a working day such as Monday through Friday heating/cooling activates at 7 am while during weekends it starts later, at 8 am. But when nobody's home ‘presence- simulation’ mode will prevent actions. The ‘automatic’ mode is meant for switching between working-and weekend modes, while users must manually activate the ‘presence simulation’ regime when leaving home using appropriate buttons/settings or under a general mood 'leaving the house'.
Case Scenario
Suppose there’s a holiday during weekdays so everyone stays home instead of going to work/school, or you want to work from home on a weekday. In such a case, the user will have to temporarily set the regime to weekend mode. With the new ATMOS upgrade, he can do this in the functions menu (grid-icon below on the main ATMOS screen), select the ‘weekend’ regime and all clock actions will be as on a weekend, until he switches the regime system back to ‘auto’ mode. It is the same as can be done on AURUS-TFT, OPUS and PENTUS touchscreens or with a button on a contact-input. Important Note: Accessing REGIME-settings on ATMOS needs upgrading PROSOFT version 4 to V 4.0.4.0 or higher, or use PROSOF 5 starting from January 2025 (if you have a G3-central unit).
