If someone opens a window, the temperature settings are automatically adjusted to prevent unnecessary energy consumption.
Is the resident leaving their home? Then they press the button 'leave home', after which the home automation system disconnects electrical appliances that are unnecessarily switched on, and it puts the heating in stand-by mode. This way, the house retains the desired temperature at the lowest possible energy cost. When one of the residents returns home, the climate is once again regulated according to the desired settings when present. This can even vary according to the person. Meanwhile, the home automation system continuously measures the air quality in the residence. If it is not satisfactory, the system automatically switches on the ventilation system or increases its speed. If desired, the residents can also control the indoor climate manually at any time, independently of the preset clock controls.
