All ATMOS users who have the automatic update function enabled, will receive this upgrade automatically. If this option is not enabled, the update can be installed manually via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
What’s new in ATMOS?
User-friendly “VENTILATION ENGINE” control
Support for the recently introduced Ventilation Engine function of PROSOFT 5.
If your project contains one or more humidity or VOC sensors, the system integrator can make the configuration in a simple way. For the customer, this guarantees an optimal air quality. All without user intervention, but with manual supervision whenever and wherever he wants.
In the ATMOS app, smileys now provide a clear view of the ventilation status.
Basic principles of the Ventilation Engine
By default, the system operates in AUTO mode, but users can always override this by selecting a different mode. The selected mode remains active until it is set back to AUTO.
Three different modes are available: Quiet, Away and AUTO.
These can be selected via a button within the TELETASK system, but also from the new ATMOS mobile app and from the ATMOS PC version.
Each mode can also be called up via a TIMESOFT function. For example, at night, after a potential manual mode change, the system can automatically set the ventilation zone(s) back to AUTO mode with a TIMESOFT action.
Improved thermostat settings in ATMOS Personal Moods
As is known, end-users can define up to ten Personal Moods on their mobile device. With this new ATMOS release, additional thermostat functions can now also be used, both in combination with PROSOFT 4 and with PROSOFT 5.
The new setting capabilities are:
• temperature set to the desired level (per zone) • temperature zone ON/OFF
Communication optimisation: A number of improvements have been made to communication from the app to the central unit on slower 4G and 5G connections. After the upgrade, this should in many cases contribute to a smoother use of the app.
Memory management optimisation: An issue has been resolved where, in a limited number of cases, the app could freeze on start-up. In some situations, it was therefore necessary to reinstall the ATMOS app. This problem has been fixed in this new version.
