Proximity tags for access control

The TELETASK Proximity tags are designed to provide secure, contactless access in conjunction with the TELETASK proximity reader TDS12142. The various types of proximity tags are equipped with a sensitive transceiver antenna and a secure intelligent chip that contains the necessary identification data for highly secure contactless access control. The system is powered by the proximity reader unit, so the tags do not have batteries and are 100% maintenance-free.

A TELETASK tag is much more than secure access control. Each user has a unique tag, to which additional actions can also be linked.

Examples

The gardener can open only the gate on the driveway on Tuesdays, and never the entrance to the home. When he arrives, the water valve for the outdoor taps is opened until 7 pm. As for frost protection, this is only executed above a minimum outdoor temperature, for example 7°C. When the gardener arrives, the garden power sockets are also activated, so that electric tools and battery chargers work—without needing to ask anyone inside the home.

- The applications are endless, and always secure. For example, as children grow up, they can also have a tag to open gates/doors, but to optimise safety, only the parents’ tag can operate the motorised pool cover.

- When the children arrive home, the parents receive a notification on their mobile phone or on the keypad in the home office: “Robert has arrived home safely!”
